I rushed to my computer and began coding the first prototype immediately. Within days, I had a working puzzle generator that could calculate unique ways for six-letter words to fit perfectly into a hexagonal matrix. But what started as a simple concept took two years to fully develop into the complete Hexicon experience you see today.
The hexagon has always been my favorite shape — from the Giant's Causeway's magnificent rock formations to the delicate patterns in snowflakes, from honeycomb perfection to the surprising hexagonal structures in pineapples. There's something deeply satisfying about this natural pattern that appears everywhere when efficiency matters most.
